Offline Journal and The Turner House, Penarth, are teaming up once again for the next SIGNATURES event – part of an ongoing series celebrating photobooks and self-publishing in Wales.
Wednesdays starting 24th September 2025, 7:00PM - 5 weeks Immerse yourself in a five-week course that explores the dynamic landscape of Western art from the 1850s to the present day. As the world underwent seismic shifts with technological advancements, global conflicts, and urbanization, how did artists navigate this new terrain?
4th September - 19th Oct This year’s annual open exhibition celebrates the many ways people come together, through community, nature, protest, festivals, shared identity, or something more personal, inviting a wide range of creative responses to the theme of unity.
24th July - 24th AugustRichard Bowers is an installation artist whose primary medium is sound or, more particularly, music inasmuch as the musical parameters of timbre and harmonic evolution are always present in the work and may even find their counterpart in the visual elements as texture, colour and contrasting forms.
29th May - 6th JulyThis exhibition documents the unflinching practice of David Garner, an artist whose work spans decades of political resistance, material investigation, and poetic protest.

the 21st February - 23rd March 2025Duck! Rabbit! is an exhibition of new artworks by the collective that spans painting, drawing, sculpture, textiles and publication, reflecting online discourse, personal narratives, and lived experiences. Inspired by the 19th-century optical illusion and its philosophy of embracing ambiguity and varied interpretation.
30th Jan - 2nd Feb Featuring new work by year 8 Art and Design students at Stanwell School
29th November - 19th January 2025 The exhibition will show a diverse range of artistic expressions, will seek to inspire reflection, evoke emotion and celebrate the profound beauty found within this natural phenomenon. The constant fluctuation between two states will be explored in many ways.
31st October - 17th November An Exhibition exploring our themes through diverse mediums while highlighting the needs and aspirations of an inclusive society.
14th September - 15th October The Turner House Open Exhibition is a major open-entry art exhibition celebrating the creative talent from those living in Penarth and beyond.
25th July - 1st SeptTwilight Barking is a new collaborative project from Arcade Campfa, working with Hafan y Coed adult mental health unit Activities Team. The project looks to explore the animal-human bond, and how animals, and dogs in particular, can alleviate boredom and promote wellbeing for in-patients at Hafan y Coed.
